This piece depicts the magic of butterfly migration with only open strings and first finger (using all strings). The butterflies disappear into thesky with a soft, delicate pizzicato ending. Bowing skills include two-note slurs, staccato on the string, and hooked bowings. While rhythmically simple, this piece incorporates a great mix of note values, making counting accuracy important.
