Tasting Harmony is designed to teach your ear to focus on the sound of each individual chord tone while simultaneously hearing the full chord. This is a new approach to ear-training, utilizing the concept of synesthesia; the mixing of the senses. Sing and play along with vocalist Petra van Nuis and pianist Jeremy Kahn on the accompanying CD. The CD has 81 tracks to easily locate and ear-train for any chord tone within eleven different chord types all 12 keys: Major 7th, Dominant 7th, Dominant 7th sus, Dominant 7b9, Dominant 7#9, Minor 7th, Minor w/Major 7th, Minor 7b5, Diminished 7th, Major 6th and Minor 6th chords. CD tracks are played in a wide variety of styles including bossa, samba, swing, 12/8, funk, gospel and two-feel. Available in C, Eb and Bb editions.
