The Bridge at Remagen is an original work that was written for and first performed by the Huddleston Intermediate School band in Princeton, TX. It was written in honor of the men of the 9th Armored Division, also known as the Phantom Division.
During the Battle of the Bulge, it seemed as if the 9th Armored Division was everywhere, or all throughout the front. Hence, they became known as the Phantom Division. Amid the battle, as the allied forces continued their advance into Germany, the Germans blew up all the bridges along the Rhine River in an effort to slow the advance. All the bridges except for Remagen were destroyed, and on March 7th, 1945, the 9th Armored Division captured that bridge, enabling the allies to continue their advance into Germany. **score & parts are provided in a PDF format to be printed by the end user**
