A Multicultural Celebration for 2 or 3 octaves Handchimes or Handbells.
Settings of eight tunes drawn from world music sources are brought together in this eclectic and accessible collection for school or community ensembles. Primarily scored with handchimes in mind, no stopped techniques or shakes are employed. All selections of course may also be rung effectively with handbells. School music teachers and directors using chime or bell instruments in their curriculum will especially find many uses for these performance music titles as classroom examples reinforcing educational proficiencies, as well as supplying appropriate and captivating material for concert programming.
