Rock

This very easy blues in the rock style gives students the opportunity to work on ensemble skills. The optional vocal part allows the additional opportunity to include a young vocalist. All vocal lines are doubled in the winds so that the chart is full and complete without a singer. Flexibly orchestrated, it can be played with as few as 9 players. The solo section is open to everyone in the ensemble and the set includes two suggested solos and a CD with a solo practice track to facilitate successful improvisation.
