"Do You Carrot All for Me" is such a delightful text. The moment I read it I felt called to set it to music. To perform this piece without the assistance of real fruits and vegetables seems wrong to me. The audience will enjoy the poetic word play so much more if the appropriate produce is exposed as the word is sung. Selcted singers can lift up the item at just the right moment, or an actor can be preparing a stew on stage, adding the ingredients in a timely manner. So, in the recipe fashion.......1. Begin with accompaniment · 2. Cue singers · 3. Exhibit fruits and vegatables in a humorous (and timely) way · 4. Enjoy.
With sincere artistic and culinary encouragement,
