Women in Song is a choral festival for women from choirs around Oregon that is scheduled for February 4th, 2010. This first annual event will consist of performances, workshops, and clinics with resident Oregon State University clinicians. The day concludes with an evening gala concert featuring chosen women's choirs from around the state, OSU's select women's ensemble, Bella Voce (under the direction of Dr. Tina Bull), and a combined performance by all festival participants.
The choral festival is open to high school women in the Oregon region of any ability and experience. Participants are to bring their own copies of the music in black choral folders. No additional copies of it will be provided at the event, and photocopies will not be permitted.
