 | Printemps originally was a symphonic suite written for female chorus and orchestra in 1887. It was later lost; Debussy subsequently made an arrangement for chorus and piano 4 hands, around 1904. In 1912, it was re-orchestrated, minus the voices, under Debussy's supervision. Lauren Publications was established to create and make available elegant, inexpensive reprint editions of rare and out-of-print music. Most titles are not available from any other publisher. Lauren Publications editions are already held by many prominent university music libraries across the United States, and it is intended that their catalog will grow through the suggestions and requests of performing artists, music teachers and librarians. |
