JAZZ GUITAR ETUDES |
 | Created to fill a gap in the muiscal resources for the aspiring jazz musician, these 12 jazz etudes are based on familiar chord progressions, including blues, rhythm changes, and a variety of common "standard" 32-bar song forms. Written with the saxophone in mind, the accompanying CD includes three differnet versions for each etude: 1) a guitar version featuring Mike Allemana playing the guitar, plus rhythm section, 2) a tenor sax version featuring Greg Fishman on tenor, and 3) rhythm section only for extended improvisation. |
